From a Single Seed of an Idea
Seedify was born from a simple observation: the immense potential of smallholder farmers was being limited by a lack of access to modern tools and information.
The 2024 agricultural drought that affected 8 regions in Ghana, combined with unpredictable weather, soil degradation, and market access challenges, highlighted the pressing need to bridge the gap between technology and West African agriculture.
They envisioned a tool that could bridge this gap—something simple enough for anyone to use, yet powerful enough to deliver actionable recommendations. After months of field research, late-night coding sessions, and countless conversations with farmers, the first version of the Seedify app was created.
